Our Plan
Four cadette scouts are working with a local farm to expand programing for special education. Specifically, they are building a chicken coop from scratch to create a western themed village for the farm's "Barnyard Buddies" program. In addition to the chicken coop, they plan to meet with younger scouts to help raise awareness for the local farm and have the younger scouts create kindness rocks that are placed along the paths in the farm. The root cause they are working to solve is the segregation of kids with special needs especially during COVID. By creating a fun space on the farm and engaging the larger community they working to increase opportunities for all kids and raise awareness about the needs of special education.
