Compassionate Traits 2

The world needs your unique perspective, talents and voice to make real change happen.

Every Roots & Shoots member has a role to play. As a part of Roots & Shoots, you will build your skills to use your voice, abilities, and interests to take action on social and environmental issues that matter to you and your community.

A compassionate citizen and/or leader is someone who considers how a decision will impact all creatures and our planet, and works tirelessly to improve the lives of others. When we say “leader,” we mean absolutely anyone, whether it be an individual who leads by example on a day-to-day basis or a CEO. Growing these traits helps you to make a difference for your community and to tackle challenges you are passionate about through service projects.
