The Problem
For many years, millions of sea turtles swam freely in the oceans. Just in the past 100 years, their numbers have decreased due to nesting beaches have been destroyed by development or polluted, people eat sea turtles and their eggs and, Lights from nearby roads and businesses misdirect the hatchlings from the seas. The members would like to help the conservation program educating the community and learning about the turtles struggle for survival.
