We want to improve the waste management at our school. Currently at our school waste is not properly disposed of. Waste is not put in the proper bins. We want to provide clairty and direction on where waste goes. In addition we are starting a community compost and will start including compost into our waste management system.
-Auditing what waste bins we have and where they are located. Use this data to determine what more bins we need. -Locate bins in a convenient area to encourage proper disposal. -Determine a location for a compost pile. -Create a community schedule/system to ensure proper compost care -Create visuals of what goes in what bins -Host a sorting trash day during lunch to introduce students to the new process
