The Problem

The Pasta Garden Project directly addresses the imperative to improve nutrition education. It aims to cultivate students' cooking skills and instill a profound comprehension of providing sustainable, nutritious meals for themselves, their families, and the wider community.

Our Plan

Students will actively cultivate tomatoes, basil, and garlic—crucial ingredients for pasta sauce. They'll master horticulture's scientific principles and techniques alongside crafting pasta from scratch. Exploring the nutritional aspects of their dishes, they'll grasp the essence of balanced diets and healthier eating habits. Furthermore, they'll hone essential life skills like cooking techniques, meal planning, and food safety, empowering informed dietary choices and healthier lives.
