Here is how the project went:
Project was successful despite the COVID, we helped to distribute food to many in our community and passed out reusable bags to help them go green, we also included information about recycling.
Through this project I/we learned:
How important it is to talk to and get to know our senior citizens, that relationship building is important, that anyone can benefit from help from time to time and that many things can become uncertain quickly. We learned how good it felt, but also how important it is/was to reach out to others and not to be selfish.
What I/we might change:
we want to create our own fresh produce stand. no pandemic
My/our favorite part of this project was:
How the children became more enthusiastic about the project and really did not want to stop
Some tips, tricks or fun facts about the project:
always let the children take some ownership for certain aspects of the project.....when they become stakeholders, they are more invested in its success
