Rev. Celeste

I am a youth minister and I founded a community youth program that started as a summer program in 2006 especially for youth who received free lunhes in the summer and eventually it because a year round program, including an after school program specializing in academic enrichment.  Our youth participants start at pre-K (we work on skills needed tobe successful in kindergarten) and go through high school.   Many of our graduates continue to be involved and work as mentors and program assistants.  We do community service projects and also spend a lot of time working on STEM education.  We have done community clean-ups, created gardens and volunteered throughout our community. We are working on being productive citizens.  I, personally, love bridging the gap between our youth and the more seasoned members of our community.
