To serve the homeless people of New Orleans with food, sanitary, and comfort items.
Our Plan
Kindness Kits are gallon-size bags full of food and persona care items that homeless or semi-homeless citizens need. This includes healthy snacks, toiletries, mittens and socks, and stationery. Items will be collected school-wide and kits assembled by Roots and Shoots members and other volunteers. The kits will be donated to the Ozanam Inn, a homeless shelter in New Orleans.
