The Problem
Our urban school has a high poverty rate, thus a need for nutritious foods at home. I'd like to start a vegetable garden with my fourth grade students. Our spring harvest would be added to the "Blessings in a Backpack" that many students receive each Friday afternoon before they go home for the weekend.
