The Problem
We will go to local state forest in our town and spend the day cleaning it up for the summer season. We will rake up old leaves and add soil where it is needed. We will also add mulch and cleanup trash around the area. This will not only help the local plants and wildlife, but it will also help increase visitation at the state forest. The state forest is a big place where people go hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, and other outdoor recreational activities. These activities are important because they help create bonds between people and nature.
