Here is how the project went:
We completed over 100 care packages for the homeless and delivered them throughout Providence
Through this project I/we learned:
Community coming together can support the homeless and make a positive change in the state.
What I/we might change:
Make more bags!
My/our favorite part of this project was:
Having over a dozen families in the community come together to support the homeless during the holidays. We were also able to see smiles on so many homeless and to personally connect with them.
Some tips, tricks or fun facts about the project:
Combining community engagement and service to others was a great combination. We included children of all ages which was a great learning experience. Each family took some bags to distribute!
