To hold a community-wide Zumba event to raise money for the cultural immersion and study abroad program Global Glimpse that supports students to have unique service opportunities abroad. The Zumba event will be a fun time for members of the community to exercise with one another and support something significant.
Myself and other Global Glimpse participants accepted into the program will ask for the volunteering support of Zumba teachers who will run the classes, will advertise through online invitations, posters, and flyers, and also bake healthy snacks to sell as part of a bake sale at the event. To attend there will also be an entrance fee. All donations/money collected will be put to support other students in being able to travel internationally and have a valuable experience.
