The Problem
We wish to create a plan to reduce our waste to zero by learning tips on how to reduce, reuse and recycle our waste. We hope this plan will have a positive impact on the health of our world's water, air, wildlife and people.
Our Plan
We will start with recycling all the items our local depot takes: tin, hard plastic, foam trays, paper, cardboard, beverage containers, milk containers. Members will educate other students as to what can and cannot go into the recycle bins. Members will learn to sort items weekly in preparation for parents to take to the recycling depot. They will also share a "zero waste helpful tip" each week for the whole school to focus on and learn.
