Here is how the project went:

It went really well. The recipes turned out delicious and the cards are really pretty. The cards are being passed out and there are cooking classes featuring my recipes!

Through this project I/we learned:

It is really hard to cook using very few ingredients. I had to get creative with what I used as a substitute. For example, I used chickpeas as a binder since the food pantry does not have eggs.

What I/we might change:

I would try to make some fun drinks using the herbs and other flavors. I thought about it but ran out of time so I had to prioritize the actual food.

My/our favorite part of this project was:

Experimenting with the different recipes. This led to be being exposed to some foods I had never tried before that I actually ended up really liking as well as some recipes that I eat often.

Some tips, tricks or fun facts about the project:

Don't be afraid to get messy! Some of the recipes I tested left giant messes and others turned out badly the first time. Just wash the dishes and change a few things before trying again.
