The Problem

Roots and Shoots students at Windhoek International School wanted to let our school community know of the sanitation issues in Namibia. Approximately 377 schools in Namibia do not have toilets. 1.4 million people in Namibia do not have toilets. That is over 50% of the population of Namibia.

Our Plan

We created a banner to let our school community know about the sanitation issues in Namibia and the approximate cost of an Eco-Toilet (a toilet that doesn't use water).
