The Problem

At Kilimahewa, after creating our Roots and Shoots Club, we will actively educate students on the importance of wildlife preservation and environmental conservation. Every member will be learning how to tend farm and plant trees in our school's farm. We will use our fish pond, greenhouse, rabbit coop, and fields to educate students about self sustainability in hopes to reflect upon the students' families at home. We will visit an animal conversation center (C.R.E.W.) as a field trip in order to gain more knowledge of the importance of wildlife in Tanzania.

Our Plan

Our project will educate and inspire Form 1-4 students on wildlife and environmental conversation efforts. Our club will meet after school twice a week to brainstorm ideas and learn farming techniques. We will hold discussions about the importance of Tanzania's wildlife and discuss ways to promote awareness in order to protect our animals.
