So far, our group has decided to look at the need to help the wildlife in our school community. Our students have learned about struggles some species are having, such as butterflies, bees, and bats. They want to find ways to help this wildlife population.
We hope to build some animal habitats, like the bee hotel, bat houses, and other ideas. We hope to plant some flowers that would benefit butterflies, hummingbirds, and other wildlife, while also making our school prettier. We also planned to make bird baths for the many birds the children see at school.
