The Problem
The Whanganui Bird Rescue is a rehabilitation facility that takes patients from the one of four wildlife hospitals in New Zealand and prepares them for release. They also educate the public on wildlife and conservation, however the place has been left with a shortage of funding and volunteers in recent years. We want to see the place get repaired, cleaned up, and have a regular stream of volunteers from the community to improve the facility overall.
