The Problem
We are actively working to assist refugees and recent immigrants who relocate to our area. Marshall, Michigan and the surrounding areas lack some of the resources available to people who relocate in more metropolitan areas. We want to work from a place of mutual respect: our students will learn a great deal from people with diverse backgrounds and we want to share that with others in our community, especially within our school system.
