The Problem
Pet abandonment is a huge problem. Countless dogs , cats and other friendly, lovely animals are cast off by their owners when they become an inconvenience. Breeders also abandon unsold or imperfect puppies. With our project we hope to increase public understanding, to advise all the prospective owners to investigate all the implications of owning an animal before they welcome even the smallest pet into their homes and to make change in our local community. We will try to make them understand that If they take on an animal, they take on full responsibility from that day forward. And let's not forget that there is nothing more perfect than being an imperfect pet parent !
