To reduce the number of students who come to school, by themselves, in a car. It causes a lot of traffic, it is unsafe, and adds to the CO2 in the atmosphere. We would like for all students to walk, bike (or scooter, skateboard etc.), or carpool to school.
We will encourage students to walk, roll, or carpool to school by tracking their green trips, by creating a map of where people are coming from (for carpooling), and by rewarding students who do green trips through raffles, hot chocolate give aways, and small prizes.
