Here is how the project went:

We enjoyed a potluck of different dishes and discussed the benefits of eating more plant-based foods.

Through this project I/we learned:

We learned to try new foods and encourage others to do the same. We also learned about excessive and hidden sugar in our diets and the benefits of eating more plant based foods.

What I/we might change:

We would ask to our members to bring a friend!

My/our favorite part of this project was:

Eating Avocado ice cream, black bean cupcakes, spanakopita, seaweed, and all kinds of veggies and nuts !

Some tips, tricks or fun facts about the project:

Be sure to invite others that are outside your club to join in these festivites. This was our last meeting of the quarter and it's a kind of celebration. By bringing a friend, you could introduce them to Roots and Shoots and possibly have a new member next time!
