The Problem
Upcycling 4 All aim to clean up local rivers by upcycling plastics that have been found there. By engaging the youth, this organization aims to promote communtity involvement and benefit the environment.
Our Plan
Our action strategy is multifaceted: we will organize cleanup programs, collect plastics, and then upcycle them into useful goods. Educational sessions will be held to teach participants the value of environmental conservation and the upcycling process. The project was chosen and planned with extensive input from local teenagers, ensuring that it reflects their concerns and visions for a sustainable future. As my community is lower on the socioeconomic ladder, I hope to engage the youth from all backgrounds on this project. We worked with local groups and community leaders to formulate a plan for the effort, ensuring that it meets the community's dire need of cleaning up our local river.
