The Problem
Our wish is to come up with a proactive way to reduce water usage and maintain a healthy school garden while incorporating technology.
Our Plan
If we receive this grant, we will be able to buy water/soil sensors for the garden. This will allow the students to track/graph data from the garden including weather, soil nutrition, soil dryness/moisture. Students will be able to track it from iPads in the classroom and make decisions about what the garden needs each day. This will be used in science, math, and STEAM lessons throughout the year.
