The Problem
We are trying to address the diminished butterfly population in Colorado through education and promoting butterfly-friendly plantings.
Our Plan
Our project will be a three step process: 1. Educate ourselves and our fellow students on native butterfly populations and the plants butterflies need. 2. Reach out to the community through local displays and seed giveaways at the public library and through our group website. This effort will be primarily directed at kids our age, kindergarten through 12th grade. 3. Encourage planting of butterfly-friendly seeds by our group and our community.
