The goal of this project is to educate young children about the welfare of endangered animals while training their own research skills and to help them express their love for animals through art.
During the weekdays of this summer, we will work with young children, who attend an academic summer camp, in the afternoon. Each day we will focus on a different animal that is endangered. Not only will we provide facts and insights on the animal, we will urge the children to research other information. Then, utilizing different mediums, like pastels, colored pencils and watercolors, they will depict the animal in its natural habitat.
