The Problem
To collect enough food to provide 150 local families with full Thanksgiving meals including turkeys, fresh produce, and canned items as well as collect nonperishable goods to donate to our local food pantry.
Our Plan
To complete this project my Roots & Shoots group will hold a week long Thanksgiving Food Drive collecting nonperishable goods from the community and a 2 week long fundraising competition between the different parts of my school to raise money for the turkeys. My club will also decorate boxes to decorate in order to put the 150 meals in to deliver to the families.
