The Problem
Teacher shortage and increasing workload place added pressures on educators, reducing the time and energy they can dedicate to teaching and supporting students. When teachers are overwhelmed by responsibilities beyond instruction, it can affect the quality of the learning environment and student success. We want to show appreciation for teachers and help create cleaner, more welcoming classrooms that support quality education for all students.
Our Plan
After researching teacher shortages and the importance of quality education, we decided to support our teachers through acts of service. We will volunteer to help maintain classrooms by sweeping floors, dusting surfaces, sanitizing tables, vacuuming rugs, and mopping floors. By helping care for classroom spaces, we hope to reduce some of the daily workload on teachers and contribute to a positive learning environment where both teachers and students can thrive.
