The Problem

It is our hope that local marine mammals have a chance at a healthy life- providing them with good food and a chance to heal injuries. Educating people on what harms mammals, so that they can be careful about what they buy and use. Helping people realize that the plastic and trash we use goes to the ocean and is dangerous for marine mammals.

Our Plan

Our actions include: Asking our neighbors, asking schoolmates, asking friends, and asking family to consider donating funds to support our cause. 1. Collect donations and share information about the support given to marine mammals at our local Pacific Marine Mammal Center. (It cost at least $2,000 to take feed, take care of, and heal one sea lion/seal.) 2. Give ideas on how to create less trash and recycle more, so the ocean is a safer place. 3. Watch seals and sea lions be released back into the ocean.
