The Problem
My 2nd graders will be studying plants. We just Skyped with a scientist whose specialty is plants. Yhrough her stude ts learned about the importance of milkweed, and other plants, on butterflies. We will be planting milkweek seeds, as well as other plants that support butterflies. Plants will be incorporated into our school garden as well as being sent home with students, along with a butterfly bush.
