Our project aims at beautifying our campus with drought-tolerant plants and a garden that can be enjoyed by students and community members alike. We want to make our community members aware of the importance of choosing the right type of plants for our environment, plants that don't require the over use of water and other critical resources.
We need funds to get started. Our Go Green Club has attended several workshops with TreePeople and we acquired many of the toolkits necessary to begin our garden project. We want to be able to purchase the succulent plants and the proper soil for our school/community garden. A couple of the parents donated gardening globes and tools already, and are willing to donate their time to help us accomplish our goal of bringing our garden to life.
