The Problem
We wish that we can build tree guards and new signage for the two trees in front of our school. That way we can prevent people from stepping on the tree pits. The signage will also explain why we need to take care of street trees.
Our Plan
Our project will protect the two young trees in front of our school. The daffodils we planted around the trees will have a chance to sprout and flower in the spring. Without the fences, people step on the tree pit and compact the soil around our trees. The bulbs are prevented from sprouting because the soil is compacted. Our project is to build a tree guards around the trees so people are prevented from stepping on the tree pits.
