The Problem
This project is a collaboration between Roots & Shoots youth leader, Laurie Findley, and other youth leaders around the country. We hope this project will spark discussion and raise awareness about the issue of Human Trafficking.
Our Plan
This project is about raising awareness through human trafficking awareness marches, seminars, and events to be hosted in about 12 states and 4 countries. Events are being planned in the United States, Ethiopia, Cameroon, and Argentina. The purpose of the events is to raise awareness about modern day slavery and show support for anti- human trafficking legislation. More information at www.tastingfreedomnow.com.
