The Problem

The Stevens Point and Plover area has a total of 21 recognized public parks. These areas of land are used for human recreation as well as by wildlife as natural living habitats. There is a lot of trash that has accumulated in these areas as well as along roadways. The trash is littering and obstructing wildlife habitats, and making our community look dirty.

Our Plan

We will plan a route to clean the visit each public park and perform a thorough cleaning of trash and other litter. The number of parks that are cleaned each weekend will be determined by the number of groups we assemble. Groups will be assigned an area to clean and will be supplied with the necessary equipment to complete the job.
