The Problem
Our world is sick. Our government needs to start measuring growth by the well-being of us, and our environment. We can't continue life like this. The world we live in isn't sustainable. We need to stop looking at it like trades and profit, and instead the inhabitants of this Earth. Rising temperatures and floods caused by climate change will put 2 billion people at risk of dengue. Environmental factors including climate change claim 13 million lives each year.
Our Plan
Speak out. Ask for more. Demand more. We need to start keeping fossil fuels in the ground. A well-being economy has human well-being, equity and ecological sustainability as its goals. These goals are translated into long-term investments, well-being budgets, social protection and legal and fiscal strategies. Breaking these cycles of destruction for the planet and human health requires legislative action, corporate reform and individuals to be supported and incentivized to make healthy choices. As individuals, we can make small change, but to create big change, we need to get the governments involved, and together, we can create a better world.
