The Problem
Our wish is to keep the Tar River clean around our local park area known as the Town Common. We hope to plan this clean up event regularly and has helped with this event before. We are now hosting it.
Our Plan
Our local Tar River access by our Town Common park is continuously full of trash. We will hold a Splash for Trash event on 10/13/2018 to clean the area within a two mile radius. We will be soliciting local boat/paddle owners to take youth out to clean the river and walkers for the surrounding areas.
