The Problem
Soils are a delicate resource. This project is designed to help students become better soil resource managers and understand how healthy soils lead to healthy communities.
Our Plan
Students will create different soil horizons in plastic cups and plant beans that will have access to the same amount of water and sunlight. Over the course of a few weeks, they can measure the growth of their plants to determine how different soil profiles impact the health and growth of resources.
