The Problem

In the Grade 3 classroom at Ecole St Catherine's School, we will be studying soil and its importance to the health of our planet and all of its creatures. This is perfect for this spring because it is the UN Year of Soil.

Our Plan

We are getting a worm bin (vermicomposting) to keep in the classroom. The children will feed the worms from the green bin in the class, and observe how they create soil.
