The Problem
My second graders wanted to address recycling and giving back to humans and wildlife in our community.
Our Plan
After several brainstorming sessions we narrowed our idea down to recycling mismatched lost socks to create homemade snowmen (decorated with recycled materials) to deliver to the local retirement communities. The snowmen will be two-fold; a winter decoration stuffed with birdseed to be feed to wildbirds come the first day of spring!
