The Problem
I hope that this event will bring girls in my sorority closer together and leave an impact on them so they are more aware about negative consumerism with owning lots of clothing.
Our Plan
There will be a clothing swap at the house where girls can trade clothes that they are tired of or don't fit into anymore to stress the importance of reusing and reducing and even upcycling their old clothing before resorting to a shopping mall. My sustainability group and I will be running the event at the house making sure rules are being followed.
