The Problem
To help kids get the supplies needed for school. We need to collect back packs and school supplies for kids in need.
Our Plan
Help kids start school with the tools they need to learn. By giving kids the proper supplies they are able to learn better and also not feel ashamed if their family can not afford to fill the supply list the schools give out. I am contacting businesses in New York to get donations to put the backpacks together. In order to find the kids in need I talk to teachers, principals, leaders at the local youth center and social service agencies. Once I have a name I will deliver the backpack either to their school or to them. This is a gift and it is done in private, not around their friends. I don't want these kids to feel bad about getting this from me. I also will help with mission projects overseas. This year I was able to help send thirty backpacks to Africa with the help of my sister's youth group. I included two photos from the mission project I did earlier this year.
