The Problem

Here, I want to share my cultural heritage and stories to heighten cultural awareness in my community.

Our Plan

I performed at the Seijinshiki (coming-of-age ceremony) in the Japanese Friendship Garden in San Diego to celebrate the adults turning 20 years old. I talked about my harp and the history behind this traditional instrument with my sister and performed a few pieces.
