The Problem

Students will research and become experts on a specific animal species or environmental issue as it relates to conservation. They will discover what topics bring out their passion for nature through inquiry. They will also create a documentary style film to share with their peers and community to educate about their topic and create interest and hopefully improve attitudes and behaviors towards nature in Colorado.

Our Plan

Students will visit the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, and learn how to film and photograph in nature. They are going to research Colorado wildlife and educate the community through film, how it connects to global wildlife and conservation efforts.
