The Problem
Our desire was to help fund the airlift of 33 Rescued Circus Lions saved by ADI (Animal Defenders International) to the Emoya Big Cat Sanctuary in Limpopo, South Africa. Each lion would cost $10,000.00 to be airlifted.
Our Plan
Our three fifth grade classes advertised the fund-raising that would take place on three afternoons at the school, The Academy of Tucson Middle School in Tucson, Arizona. Donated baked goods and hand-made book marks were sold.
