The Problem
These workshops are geared towards helping LGBTQ youth reach a high level of self esteem and positive body image. I hope to reach youth in the San Diego area through different LGBTQ centers.
Our Plan
First, I will reach out to San Diego LGBTQ centers with lesson plans that discuss how to deal with issues that many young people deal with, along with a special focus on concepts like gender dysphoria and questioning that LGBTQ youth go through. Then I will spread the word about the workshops through GSA clubs in my school district and hopefully implement these lessons in these clubs as well.
