The Problem
We aim to address environmental injustices by providing materials for low income neighborhood residents to fight back against flooding and climate change by planting new trees. Located in Houston, Texas we are subject to extreme flooding and hurricanes and homes commonly flood. We have little vegetation to allow for the soil to absorb the water and need more trees to help water flow into the soil and out of our homes.
