The Problem
The "People Group" is working in conjunction with School on Wheels to support students who are homeless in the local and surrounding community. School on Wheels is a non profit organization that brings together tutors to support students without permanent housing stay at grade level and engaged in their education. Our group is asking for donations of toys this holidays season, and is opening up a yearlong campaign asking for donations of school supplies. Along the way, the group will also work to generate awareness about the causes of homelessness, the extent of it, and will encourage the community to continue to brainstorm ways we can make a positive impact.
