As a school we have received funding to create a kitchen garden for the students to learn about sustainability in the local community. It is our wish that we educate the children about ethical crop production, healthy eating reduce, reuse and recycle and how by doing something small can make a difference.
It is planned that it will become part of the teaching focus of the 2016 school year where each grade will be able to be a part of the project either through learning about growing organic vegetables, cooking and eating fresh produce and learning how fetillizers and mainstream production affect the local, national and international environment
