The Problem

Students in my class became concerned about the effect of plastic pollution on oceans. Since Houston's many waterways and storm drains run straight into Galveston Bay, my students realized they could make an impact right here within their school community.

Our Plan

Students learned about the dangers of plastic pollution, then planned and orchestrated a school-wide clean up and education campaign.
