The Problem
My wish for this project is to repair the denuded land at Swan Wash and bring back the riparian area it once was by planting native trees, grasses, and shrubs to attract pollinators, birds, and wildlife.
Our Plan
This project will increase the amount of ground cover in a denuded area that is currently part of a larger park area. It is treated poorly because it looks like a waste land. We will be doing earthwork to create rainwater harvesting basins, planting native trees, grasses, and shrubs, removing invasive species, and creating an outdoor learning space.
